Auch die handgefertigte Schnalle „Sonnenkompass“ ist auf beiden Seiten einzigartig. Die Vorderseite zeigt den ewigen Bezugspunkt – die Sonne. Die Rückseite symbolisiert die innere Welt, unser Ziel, die Edelweißblume (nur die stärksten Reisenden können diese Blume sehen).
Die Schnalle ist aus robustem Messing gegossen. Nach dem Guss wurde sie von Hand bearbeitet, patiniert und poliert.
